The following question came into our email this afternoon: "I'm starting my first build with a NC16 kit. The plans indicate that the bottom piece is 2' wide at it's widest point, in the middle. However, the side rails are to be 1'-1'1/4 wide or 13.25. Layed out on the 4' x8' plywood this does not leave 2'. Looking for clarification. tks P.s did not see any thing on the blog about this." Look at the layout on the plywood: the widest part of the side is not where the widest part of the bottom is.
If you draw your boat parts on the plywood as we show it, it fits.
