Great job Tom. Real pretty boat, think the boot stripe would look nice too.

Hey Tom, the blue stripe will look awesome, I'm all for a bit of fancy bits on a boat, just look at the bollard on my canoe.

Show us a pic if and when you get it done.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I agree with the dark blue boot stripe. She looks great as she is now but a stripe will be a nice addition.
Congratulations on the launch, it's one of the nicest FS14's.

Will you use her for scalloping? It's full season in your area.

Thanks for the inputs and compliments. The OWMBO has decided that "KINGFISHER" will be nice name for her so need some name decals made up for the sides. A dark blue bootstripe is in her future but first get some fishing done and maybe take her scalloping. Only problem with taking her scalloping is that we have no dive ladder and will have to hoist ourselves up using the anti-cavitation plate on the motor as a step. Will try it out next week if the weather cooperates as lately we have had thunderstorms and lightning every day.

All of the recent rains since TS Debbie has left the gulf around Steinhatchee looking like tea water so most folks are heading down toward Horseshoe where the water is clearer. Some of these areas have been picked clean from the heavy concentration of out of town and out of state boats. One of the worst years in recent history in my opinion.

Regards
Tom in Steinhatchee :)

Hey Tom, Great looking boat! Looks like the same color as our-which we just splashed-then resplashed! We were wanting to use the same color inside as you did, but the color we got really looked yellow, so we went with Light grey and made it a bit lighter on the floor. I think the stripe would look great. Wanted to do ours with a stripe, but got out voted by the 'captain'!! :( Haven't decided on a name yet-will wait til we have her out a time or two more and something will just click in our heads. Best of luck with her! Linda and Willie
