Hi Tony,
That is what I call a scenic rowing route. I am surprised you dare to row so far out and at the waves one can see. At one second one can hardly see the boat so I guess there was a 3-4 foot swell. I am sure you are having real fun rowing it the same as we have watching the video.
Greetings from Karl

Thanks, guys.
The waters near the Golden Gate demand caution in a little boat, so even though I'm very familiar with the Bay, I checked the weather carefully before going. We also needed a day without fog to get this and other shots--the wife did the photography--and those aren't guaranteed in the summer around here.

8) 8)

Another reason why we do what we do... Handcrafting a vessel for such moments....

Duckworks Boat Supply--I guess a competitor--has used a photo of me in my V10 for its front page on Facebook:

Really cool Tony :!: The V10-V12s are some of the best looking boats out there and yours is a really nice example of one. I have thought about building one just because they look so "Right"

Thanks. I think it's a pretty design, too, and it rows very well.
I post my adventures with it on Facebook but I think they're not public. If anyone wants to friend me search for tony johnson. Every so often a feller can use a friend.
BTW, the way this posting on Duckworks came about was I had a long conversation with a nice guy named Roger Swanson who operates the Swanson Boat Company. I was looking for a lubricant for the leathers on my oars and he was the man. I don't know how many experts there are on marine tallow, used for this purpose, but he knew all about it. He asked for a photo of my boat and sent it to Duckworks.
