Wouldwork's V12 Finished 6th November 2016

Post by WouldWork » Sun Nov 06, 2016 1:14 am

Hi friends,

As I said in my build thread, she's not yet hit the water. I'm still waiting for the sail. Shouldn't be long and I'll update with plenty more pics once she's been wet.

This is my second bateau boat, and I'm hopefully buying plans for number 3 on Tuesday.

I've taken 20 or 30 more pics so if there's any angles or views anyone wants to see, let me know. I promise to update with heaps of pics on the lake once I have the sail

Thanks

Take care all

Cam.

Congratulations Cam, she's a real head turner. Is the party pontoon boat going to happen? Michael.

Thanks Michael. Yes the poon-cat is a goer, hoping to buy the plans Tuesday. Did you see the final layout draft?

Cam, work of art! You have every right to be very proud of what you have built. The V12 is pretty to start with and you have turned her into a true stunner :!:

Thanks guys, I am very proud of her. Once she's on the water I'll share heaps of actions shots. It's cramped photography in that little temporary shelter she's in, I really can't wait to get a nice wide angle shot with a beautiful background.

Congratulations Cam, I really like the finish on your boat as I know how much one can mess with epoxy which you seem to have avoided completely. I wish I were in your situation waiting for the sails to arrive. With me it is the other way round I have made the sails long time ago and now the sails are waiting for a finished boat.
Greetings from Karl

4 years ago when I told friends I was building a small sailing boat, most of them laughed. If I could've told them that once finished it would end up front page of a boat building website they would have died laughing. So if 'credit where credit's due' is due, then I give credit to the designer, plans, instructions and forum - the people who post! If I can build one, anyone can!

Gonandkarl - thank you, together we have a full boat!

Take care all and thanks for enjoying my pics/build.
