Best out there

Postby Benny Howard » Sun Aug 05, 2012 10:01 am

Hope you don't see this as a time waster on the site but I have purchased 3 sets of plans, followed the site for 10+ years. All I can say so far is "cudos" to the webmaster and anyone else involved. Will be ordering supplies this week and I am excited about the support and what I have read about the products. The forum help is absolutely great and leaves very little to chance.
Great job guys!
PS. The term "guys" not being gender specific, to be politically correct>

Welcome back to the group Benny. Certainly not a time waster. A lot of us are pretty passionate about how much we like bateau and the people who keep it afloat. Post lots of pictures and ask lots of questions. What boat are you going to build?

Welcome Benny :D

I've been meaning to say something else under this topic also. In the last few months this forum has worked as slick as an eel's pecker. Whatever yall did to fix it, it's a lot better than it was :D

My son and I went with the xf20 this time but will build without the tunnel. We discussed that or the GF18. I have plans for the Phantom 18 and 22 but would want to put more motor on those and we will use a 50HP Tohatsu for now. Since I am semi-retired and my son is out of work for the next few months w/rotator cuff surgery(so he will be restricted somewhat) we should be able to make some good headway. I was really impressed by the Chillie Willie splash last week and would like to build similar to his layout.
