I post on some open forums that use an advanced form of "Captcha".

They were having real problems, but that seems to have dealt with it.

Have you looked at it?

Unfortunately our problem here concerns real people and not bots. Some people will do anything for a couple of dollars a month.

VG 23

Postby Mark Wilson » Sat Feb 27, 2010 3:55 am

Hi all, As instructed I contacted users of this forum about my questions but got no conclusive answers. Again, I want to order the plans and get started on the VG23, however, the spar7 rigging as well as sails are not to be found in the philippines. I want to order the kits from you and would like to know if you ship these kits to the philippines. I don't want to end up with a completed hull and no way to get spars and sails.

The best way to get a reply will be to open a thread of your own. Call it VG23 spars and sails. It will get answered by the bateau folks.

Now to perhaps answer your question, you can get anything shipped anywhere in the world. What you need is to contact a freight forwarder. If you search the forum for freight forwarder you will find what you need.

You should also contact the folks at http://www.pinoyboats.org. They have built a number of wooden boats and have an active sail racing program. One of thier boats is a VG23 about 1/2 done.

Let us know if that gets you on your way Mark. :) A new thread under *Questions before purchasing the plans*, titled as Chrisobee suggested, should get an answer much more quickly. Welcome to the group. :D

You'll get used to posting in this forum quickly. Please followup here if you have any trouble getting the question posted and answered in the right section. :)

You'll have a big leak on the end you cut off :D Seriously though, the plans call the be scaled by +/- 10% so yes it is possible.
