Well I got around to pouring a little foam in between the stringers. I used about a quart and thought this is not going to ever fill the space, maybe it is too cold  So I take my turkey fryer and warm some water up to about 120f, pour it in a cooler, put a gallon of foam in the cooler and let it heat soak for about 15 minutes.
It was like I was using a totally new product. When I poured the clear part into the mixing cup it was foaming just a little. When I added the dark part B I had about 5 seconds of stirring before the chemical reaction started. Maybe it was a little too warm  I will say I got a lot more expansion than what I am used to. Anybody know the ideal temperature for this stuff?

Glad you are back at it. Good idea to water bath the foam.

I had it sitting in front of the shop heater. It was probably about 70f. boat is around 60F, best guess. I thought I read 85f was a good temperature so that is why I tried the warm up deal.

Ok need a little input. What size chase tube for two #10 wires. Also size for fuel line and any other stuff. I have a roll of 1 inch and a roll of 1/2 inch flex conduit.
Also is it better for control cables to exit the transom straight on or from the side?
Thanks guys :D

I don't have my uglys reference handy but think it's 6 #10 wires in 1/2 emt.but that's get I think a little tight if you have to pull more. Bigger always better unless it's emt and your the one bending it lol

My choice was based on having to pick from big (1") or small (1/2"). Ask me how I know you can run a chase that's too small....

Never again. You have plenty of space for the larger tubes.

So we don't like 3/4  I know what you saying I was only pointing out If I was telling someone else do it i always went bigger if I did it I weight the pro and cons a little closer 1" would kick my butt sometimes running 500or600 ft bending around everything.

Ok what size for shift/throttle cables? I will have three 90s, long sweep, in the line.
