Re: Bass Boat

I doubt more than 20-30 hours of work total. The cost will be in the motor and gas imo

Re: Preparing for GT27 build - questions

Nice Wes! That boat could be ge ultimate overnight crappie slayer on the lake. FWIW: For epoxies; I’ve used Marinepoxy, Silvertip, MAS, and the west marine systems. The nicest is Silvertip followed by MAS imo. For the money though I would use slow hardener Marinepoxy. It has WAY less blush problems ...

Re: GS28 to GS26?

Dave, sound like you’re better at thinking ahead than I am :). Jacques usually recommends scaling length and width as just scaling one (and not the other) can dramatically change performance. I’m not sure about such a large, relatively narrow boat though. I’m sure he’ll chime in! Thanks country! It’...

Re: GF16 North Texas Build

I bought stainless plaques from here:

http://www.plaquemaker.com/stainless-steel-sign-sst

There is a website called vessel placard, but they wante $100 for one. I’m pretty sure the website above was about half that cost. Looks new 4 years later.

Re: Bass Boat

Agree Barraman!

Mine rides on rails! Half the time I’m driving I don’t even have to keep my hands on the wheel. A well designed boat is an amazing thing :)

Re: Bass Boat

Agree with the above, narrower in the front, wider in the rear, I’m guessing they are similar in how they ride. As much as it pains me...yes the PH16 is a lot sexier, but like Jimmy Soul says “if you want to be happy for the rest of your life; never make a pretty woman your wife; from my personal po...

Re: GS28 to GS26?

Dave, is your storage facility limited to 26’ exactly? I ask because you’re gonna want to think about the tongue of the trailer too. I had to cut my tongue off and add one of those swing away kits to fit in my garage. Just a thought. Jacques is supposedly getting back Monday-ish.
