Re: Is my boat falling apart?

https://forums.bateau2.com/download/file.php?id=10763&t=1 On this pic, it seems as you might have access for rework. I would seal the ply first, and than probably put a long piece of wood between frames to distribute the load. should act as butt block at the bottom of the seam as well. I don't have...

Re: Graphics for our boats

I did get my boat ID's cut from SS and whilst ordering the name tags, I also ordered the TW 28 code and attached to both sides as below. IMHO I am honoring the designer to carry his design/model name which also should be a good advertisement for Bateau. http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/214...

Re: Mike Smith's TW28 build

I don't have the plans with me but I remember the side panels were actually longer than 28 feet when laminated. With the curvature of the boat, side panels are longer than the actual boat length or so I remember. I had metric plans, boat overall length was 8.60 and I remember side panels approximate...

Re: New Builder - Questions about plans and changes to inboard

In my humble experience, I would look for a boat that is designed to be inboard. The design concept is based on number of factors and when you take the propulsion out replace with a different dynamic, that is a new design and not proven. I would not personally take that risk but that is your choice....
