I´m sure it´s just an error but 5" is 127 mm, not 75.

What type Glue? (GP-16)

System 3 makes a product called T-88 that is recommended by a lot of posters at the Wooden Boat forum.<BR>It is a 1:1 epoxy that does not need thickeners or pre-coating of the wood. Dries clear enough for finishing bright.

OK, that makes sense. The tutorial just says to install the sheerclamp, I think most people will take that to mean glue it in.
