Re: Boat for overnighter and shallow water

Hi, I will have to tell you about an interesting find I had to day. I had to go into the attic, which is just crawl space in a single story house with trusses, on a concrete foundation/ floor, built around 1975. It has that nasty blown in insulation. Anyway, I do know that 10 years ago the kitchen c...

Re: Boat for overnighter and shallow water

Will consider that. Will depend where I am at on what project. Have yet to get any licenses for Oregon except drivers license. I was a Washington resident for 56 years.
Anyway, this is a PDF that I built my skiff with a while back.

Re: Boat for overnighter and shallow water

Well I'm going to look around for a serious place to build a boat so I can have more options and less compromise. Talked to my friend and the place he built his is no longer available. Re: Boat for overnighter and shallow water

Well as a "dinette", not a dining room table; just a table that can hinge up from the side, the passenger pedistal seat swivels around to face it. Another in the floor pedistal mount that the other seat can be moved there. Secondly a shelf behind the steering station to have a single burner alcahol ...

Re: Boat for overnighter and shallow water

HI, I'm 5 blocks west of the Warrenton Marina. Dave Kruger in Astoria built a 19 foot Bartender lengthened a foot. A small cuddy, Westerbeke inboard. We went out a couple weeks ago after I worked on his engine; sort of a spring shake down. Realize how much I miss being on the water after being away ...

Boat for overnighter and shallow water

HI. I live in Oregon near the mouth of the Columbia River. I'm not too interested in going over the bar and outside, though I might on an exceptionally calm day. But more than that, I want to be able to go out on a rustic overnighter sometimes, head inland and just do the old exploration thing, on s...
