Re: How toxic is the gas /outgasing of marinepoxy

Thanks ks8 for your thoughtful and detailed input regarding safety with epoxy. Better too safe, than sorry. Regarding the heater, carbon dioxide is not much of a problem, but carbon monoxide, which is tasteless and odorless, can be lethal in sufficient quantities.

So, Chicagoross, you are located in Guam? I assume you are, since no one has mentioned shipping costs. Not much competition from elsewhere because of the formidable shipping expense. Looks like a real deal if you are there.

This is from memory, so subject to error, but I believe the deadrise at the transom is 10 dgrees for the Pilot, and 12 for the Classic. There are also differences in the freeboard, with the Classic having more freeboard, not only in the bow, (obvious), but also on the stern.

Just keep in mind that the Panga is very narrow in the front, and not meant to have alot of weight in that area. The weight of the cabin, seats, gear, and possibly people moving around seems questionable at best. In my opinion, if you want a cabin, then choose a boat with a cabin. Its designed for i...

Finishing plans is not as exciting as dreaming of new ones.
