Hey boaticus...Cradle's looking good....like that shop to...I'm also rebuilding an Aquasport and I used the two gallon closed cell buoyancy foam kit they sell on this site to refill my stringers with.. Got to say it was easy to work with & fair priced. And I believe they are much better and stronger...

I also used an air chisel made short work of it......I cut the top of my stringers off to gain access and remove the foam...I would recommend Mad dogs way...

Haaa I did get distracted when my wife decided to argue over what were gonna get to eat just as I poured the two together at one point..But I got the mix and pour in before it foamed up...It was fun... nice product alot stronger then I thought it would be...I didn't order enough though hate when tha...

After being inspired by jaques and shines Aquasport project. And my want to make this boat as lite as possible I was planing on do...

What a day in Jersey.....Had tickets to the Barclays in Paramus. you golf fans will understand... so I didn't get much done on the boat till now cut out where the pilot will sit and started on the stringers!!! Wow foam was very wet...and I really really!!!! didn't want to mess with them but after op...

EASY CHIEFEE!!! (from the movie sorry I couldn"t resist) :lol: Chief B those molds are long gone....And yeah foam came out kinda easy but it fought me in a few spots..... Was busy today didn't get a chance to mess with the boat. Did drill two holes in the stringers though.. up in the bow and in the ...

I'm willing to bet its soaked as well... The holes they used to fill the stringers had wet foam there...Besides the extra weight what would be the consequences if I left it....And how much of a pain was it to replace? MD
