Not interested in the business end of building a boat. Just want to know how many Panga 20's have been built?

Panga 20 - Completion

Well it took nine months to the day to complete the Panga 20. Started from scratch. Made the saw horses to cut the wood on, built the strongback with help from Jasmine. What a project. Just posted three pictures, sorry I did not have the time to maintain a log as Jasmine did, but time did not allow ...

Looking Good

I finished hanging all the framework on the strongback today.

Epoxied the bottom panels together and the transom pieces. Tomorrow I'll epoxy the side panels together. Should be mounting the side and bottom panels by Sunday or Monday.

Stringer Width

I assume that the 12" from the CL is for all the frames?

Panga 20 - Ledwith - Stringer Box Width

Last night I transfered the dimensions of frame/stations C,D,E, onto paper. This should allow me to use the nesting diagram to cut the plywood, and then use the same plywood to make the hull frame and final supports without using extra plywood. Question: What is the width of the stringer box? So I c...

Panga - Ledwith - Stations/Frames - Fit & Finish

Still another method is to purchase the precut kit. A freind egged me on to make the entire boat from scratch, so I purchased the plans, and the plywood in sheets from a local supplier. Admittedly, I saved around $500. I only have about 6 hours into cutting about half of the panels, so I guess anoth...

Panga - Ledwith - Frame Station - Nesting Diagram

Sorry, what is CL and BL? CL = Centerline? I guess by transfering the dimensions on paper and making paper templates instead of cutting cheap plywood as you suggest to make the frames, I save purchasing the wood, and then use the nesting diagram to its fullest. Do you understand what I'm saying abou...
