hatch is no problem mine was quite simple and has worked for years the nly thing i had to get that is not wood it the two ss strips one on each side of the hatch that it slides on and they screw down to the top of the vertical sides that you already have in place on your hatch opening and they stick...

I feel bad I could have told you that the tint would not work on plexie been there dun that. I tried lexan on my boat but there is to much of a curve in the boat and it cracked twice. It works well the only problem I had was when I pushed it open the front of it would slide in my deck and screw up my paint so O put a 3in wide strip of 1.4 inch plastic down with a few scrues and now it slides on that and dose not damage the paint. It looks good I used that same Pettit paint on my boat it took a bit to work out how to do it I used a roller when I did my boat it was a foam roller. I found that when i put it on i would dew small areas at at time say 3 feet by 3 feet when i was rolling it on i would work the paint util it started...

You will not find getting it on and off the trailer to be a problem it takes me around 15 but if i mount the mast and stuff in the parking lot then launching it all rigged it takes no more time to get in to the water than any other boat once you have dun it a few times. It looks real good just get it out and enjoy it mine is a long way from perfict but it works for me and I get lots of comments on it while on the water or even while on the trailer going or coming from the water people have followed me into the gas station just to look at it it is kind of a diffrent...

The hard part is yet to come getting the inside of that keel opening glassed is a bugger i put a brush on a long stick that i could fit down that slot and getting the glass in there was a chalange but you can get it ok then painting is the same problem
