Re: PH 22 Build

I remeasured very carefully and came out with the same result: http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/55484/normal_SAM_0283.JPG I planed the stringers down and moved on. I've built 1 boat, so take it for what that's ...

Re: Wahoo 160 LTS "SPLASHED"

Your boat looks fantastic. The level of finish is just amazing.

Re the air lock, do you think it's a matter of pump pressure? Would it be possible to put an Attwood model in which has more output capacity?

Re: Lm18 madison 1 step forward 3 steps back

The beauty of the plans and materials used in these boats is you cant screw anything up beyond what you can grind off and fix with some epoxy and fillers :) trust me, we have all done something that needed fixed :p no big deal So true. I can nearly guarantee you that this won't be your only do-over...

Re: Question for Jacques

AA, this is a link to a thread where a guy vented the tunnel in his Kenner. He said running the tunnel vented or not was like having two different boats. He'd keep the vent open unless he was on the flats. Presumably he had a jack plate to lower the motor because, as Jacques said, the prop wouldn't ...

Re: Cooler build

Browndog, I have been following your project with a lot of interest. The cooler and handles look great. I look forward to seeing how you'll handle the seal under the top as well as what you'll do for hinges and latch. Thanks for sharing your work.

Re: Who has the best Photos and text on making flush hatches

Capt UB, I used a method similar to what Barraman posted on his build thread, although that video link does not exist anymore. I documented my flush hatch process on pages 23-24 and 26 of my build thread (starts here: https://forums.bateau2.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=46527&start=220). There are pictur...
