Totally understand wanting to use the motor you already have. If you are only going three miles then maybe you could look at other boats and not plan on going fast. One of the things that hit me during my morning "Glossie" search is there are plenty of chances to kiss bottom where you cruise. One thing to really think about is will the boat plane on one engine. If not what twins give you is a really big and expensive kicker that is bad on fuel.

Is this bracket wider to be able to carry more weight than the last one? Are you going to carry the stringers out into the bracket? Is this one going to be a 3 foot longer mirror of the last one?
