That is a lot of glass. It is going to take a lot of resin to wet it out. You will use less resin working wet on wet as any excess from the first layer will soak into the layer about it. Man either I have a really well calibrated mark one eyeball or I am very lucky. I just pour my epoxy into cups. Two for resin and one cup for hardner. If I need a smaller batch I just pour by eye.........looks about 2-1 to me. So far never had a problem but that is sure to change now :help:

You are doing the right thing by getting all the heavy sanding done at one time. It sucks but after you get all geared up to do it you might as well get it all and not have to keep on coming back to it.
