Re: Beamier boats

Hello Dan, I'm thinking along the same line, looking at the OB19 for my next build, strictly fishing machine, I'm on Lake Saint Clair in between Lake Erie and Lake Huron and I do fish those lakes from time to time, as you know everyone up here seems to be Lund crazy, I like the Lund's too, my nephew...

Re: OB19 in SW FL

It is 'slappy' when running into a head sea, even only of 1 foot or so. It does not ride like a deep-V boat. Running into waves provides a jolt or slap, more than I was hoping for. However, the beneficial trade-offs include batter MPG, faster with same HP, more stable at rest, faster to plane, more...

Re: OB19 in SW FL

Hello Wade, Nice summery on the OB19. I'm giving some serious thought about building the OB19 for fishing the great lakes, I love my P19 and will never get rid of her but she's a little tough to do some of the type of fishing I like to do, I need a trolling motor on the bow and something that doesn'...

Re: OB19 Deadrise

Thanks Fuzz! I'd have to draw it up on CAD and measure the angle from there, but Jacques answer saved me from that. As you know the OD while being one of the most stable boats, for that size, that I've ever been on was a rough ride, while the P19 with a 10 degree dead rise is a better ride in ...

OB19 Deadrise

Maybe I'm missing it in the study plans but can someone tell me what the deadrise is in the OB19?

How's she handle a chop?

Re: Anyone Fishing?

Great fishing day with my Grand Daughter in the P19.

Allie, pictured here, was 2 when we went to our first Bateau boat builders meet in Florida, she'll be 13 tomorrow.
