Re: Anyone Fishing?

I have spent the last few weekends socially distancing with the perch. My daughter and wife love fried perch and so do I.

Re: PH15 thoughts and questions

I recommend adding a small skeg when you build. I built a PH18 and need to slow down in sharp turns or the boat will slide. I plan to add a skeg to mine eventually. The PH18 is very stable and a great little fishing boat for fishing the Southeast LA marsh.

Re: Wouter's PH18 Namibia

I have the Lenco Electric 9x12 trim tabs and they work great. The only porpoising I have experienced is at WOT with the motor lifted high with the jackplate and trimmed up excessively.

Re: Cvincent's PH18

After 3 years of work my phantom was splashed today. I did not take any on the water photographs because I was too busy fishing. I will take on the water photos next time out. The boat sits perfectly on her lines and is very stable. I was able to get into areas today that I could not think about goi...

Re: repainting on my od 18

My recommendation is to paint over the top of the currently sanded paint job. Priming may only be necessary where you make the repair. Blend the primer in on the repaired area and paint.
