Yes I did, thank you. I just want to avoid putting any bolts/holes through the sole. From what I've gathered epoxy and fiberglass should do the trick in securing the console. What do you think?

Hey Guys: I finally manned up and bought the FS17 plans. Getting ready to move into a house with a large 2 car garage and can't wait to get started. So I went to get pics and decided to thoroughly look this thing over...wow what a mess. There was a new gel coat on the hull but the fiberglass underneath was flimsy and would crack simply by pushing on it gently. I think I'll be looking for another project, so glad I didnt buy it.

New deck installation

Hi guys, just found a 20' skiff in great shape. However it will need a new sole and I'm not sure how well I could adhere it to the old fiberglass. Is this possible? Is it even worth trying? Thanks for any information.
