Re: FS14- Bayou City Boat

So when you salty sailors start talking sailor stuff I may have a clue as to what you are saying! I haven't tried it, but always assumed it became clear once down a 1/2 bottle of rum? And waste the other half?!?!? No no no! You drink the WHOLE bottle. Then you talk. And this explains my “sea ...

Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

I approve of the provisioning. 2x liquor to food seems right to me.

Congrats on the successful repair and travel. Fuzz is getting twitchy from the lack of pics though....

Sounds like perfect fishing weather.
Almost, you need a little 20-30 knot breeze with it to be truly happy

Re: FS14 Bayou boat

OQ, not saying you did. I'm just looking at the thread from "way over here" and I can see where JM would see your focus on standards and forecast a google search or some enterprising build looking for info getting to this part in your thread... and since you are starting to talk about standards for ...

Re: Little chilly today

OK, a little wrong about last post on temp!! Yesterday, Vero Beach, not the Treasure Coast, set a new record high temp of 87!! Really hot and humid again today and tomorrow but a cold front coming Friday AM!! Jeff Stop rubbing it in. I'm actually looking for work down that way to get the heck out o...

Re: FS14 Bayou boat

Interesting takes... I read JM as saying more of "BTW, if you DO want to make a pile of these for profit, which would be the only reason to need this level of standards adherence, here's our take". And given OQ's various endeavors I think it would be a good CYA for everyone to put it out there to ma...

You should run over to the local shipping facility and buy a large roll of bubble wrap. When she asks “why did you buy that?” you reply “just preparation for taking you cruising!” You May not survive, but it would be funny.

Glad to hear she ready to be back on the water.

Re: Little chilly today

All I want is to only need to by ONE style of shirt, short and pant that will work any day of the year.

Orange for monday
Brown for thursday
Blue for wednesday
light blue thursday
green for friday

Right now I need winter and summer sets. Just too difficult for my slow-a$$ brain.

Very nice! And those kids will probably produce a better finished product than many of us older folks.
But they have adult supervision!

And likely less alcohol consumption during the build.
