Re: Bob's FS18

HA! Mom taught me to "clean as I go" in the kitchen. I guess I do the same thing in the garage... I hear you there. I can't tell you how many times I've blown out the garage. Just didn't want it tracked in the house. That strongback looks good and you will like having it lower. I wish mine was abou...

Re: LM18 in Perry, GA

That's exactly what I'm doing. Keep the angle of the transom on the hose.

Re: Bob's FS18

Man you are scaring me rolling that thing around on just 2x4's. I just had to fix a strongback leg where it finally worked loose where a leg attaches to my strongback from me pushing it in and out of the garage so much. That thing is very light right now. It won't stay that way. Believe me you don't...

Re: FS17 in Steinhatchee

Tom,
Shoot I'll go gigging and shrimping at night. One of the main things I want to do is go gigging at night on mine. You're only 80 miles from me. Just say when...

I'm also interested in seeing what folks say about the nmea cables.

Re: Steve's FS18

A good idea would be to draw out your wiring in diagram style so years from now if something starts acting up you don't have to remember what went where. Little foot notes with brand and type of switches, fuses, terminal blocks and on and on. If you note everything from wire size to connectors then...

Re: Steve's FS18

Tom,
I ended up using the blue sea fuse panel too. Thanks for the info on the labeler. I'll check it out. I'm definitely going to try and do a neat job of wiring. I could sling some wires together and call it good enough like I've seen done plenty of times but I want it right.

More to come

Bump

Does anyone have any other videos of the FS18?

Jacques,
I promise I'll post some videos of mine when I finish it.

Re: Steve's FS18

Hey Tom, Sorry, I just saw your post. If I would have seen it I would have come on down this week to check out your build. I guess I need to turn on post notifications for my build. I've gotten a lot done the last two weeks even though to look at it doesn't show much progress. That's a tough time to...
