Re: K2FS18 - Stats

Man it looks good. Thanks for posting the pics and the weights. I'm curious about the weight of mine. I can lift the back up pretty easily but I still want to weigh it like you did once I'm done. Is that a Lowrance Carbon unit you have mounted? If so, I'm interested to hear what you think of it. Steve

Fuzz I got 27 acres and 6.5 miles off the main road with the last 1.5 on Forest Service road. It is 17 miles into town.
Sounds like a peaceful place to me!

Re: How long to wait to pour 2 part foam.

I've messed around with the foam and wet epoxy. It will not adhere to anything with wet epoxy. It will cure with about an 1/8 inch space in between the foam and the epoxied piece and will take the shape of the piece that is epoxied. Once epoxy has cured the foam will stick when poured on. I used a s...

Re: Livewell valve/plumbing question

Did you mount your valve? How much effort does it take to turn it? I've been looking for a good 3 way valve and this may fit for my needs. I used the bolts that hold the valve together to mount the valves to a plate I glued to the walls of the locker. 3634 I had to get longer bolts and due to the t...

Re: Livewell valve/plumbing question

I use a Flow-rite V-3 valve that bolts to the intake side of the single pump. One pick up that is also the drain. From the pump water goes to a 3 way valve (yellow handle) that controls flow to the live well and/or the bait well. The return drains are controlled by the second 3-way valve. The 3-way...

Re: Port A XF 20

When you think it is good enough and are sick of sanding and fairing and want to move on then you probably have one more coat or two to do. Finally, when you get to the “Aw Hell No” stage where you feel like you are now making it worse then it was before the last coat, it is time to move on to prim...
