Time to break out the old weapon of mass destruction, The Angle Grinder with a 32 grit Sandpaper flap disc. It’ll be “touched up” in a hurry.

On the FS19 that I built last year, I covered the inwale, gunwale and rubrail with lightweight fiberglass cloth after radiusing the top of the inwale and rubrail. Having trouble understanding your description of the transom to answer your question. but, it doesn’t sound right. Please post a picture of your transom if possible.
