Re: Hurricane Michael

On the coast of Georgia we have had heavy rain and some wind, but nothing too serious. We are experiencing some higher than normal tides as well. The causeway to St. Simons Island was closed tonight as a precaution. Tornado watches are in effect. Tonight and tomorrow should be windy as well, but we ...

Re: FS 19 build

Been doing some work on my brother’s boat. Replacing the fuel vent and having to do some minor hull repair due to a new hole having to be recut and the old one filled in. Also have to repair and reinforce the front hatch lid as it was made in two pieces and I neglected to reinforce the bottom and a ...

Re: Narfi's FS17 - Build Thread

Cape man,

You are not alone with the scupper issue. I have had the same problem on the FS-19. It is one of the only things that I wish I had done differently.

Jordy

No, Hank I did not add a Bimini top to my brother’s boat. The boat in the background is my buddy’s old Rhino 21, which is w...

Re: FS 19 build

Was up at our lake place in Wisconsin for the month of August. Back in Georgia for September. The fall fishing is starting to pick up. Below are pictures of a 1/2 day and a full day of fishing this week. 3705 3706 The best parts of my brother’s boat are the roominess, the ride and handling and overa...

Re: Selling a bateau

After just finishing building the FS19 and am still fine tuning things after maybe 60 hours on the motor. My observations are as follows: I would say you would have no problem selling the boat as I’ve had a number of people ask me about building one for them. The problem is recouping all of your mat...

Looks cool, like a Spartan helmet. Fill in the gap, fiberglass, fair, sand, prime and paint. Keep going. No one will know.

That’s what I did on my brother’s boat and it works great.
