Re: FS 19 build

Ran the boat today finally to get some performance numbers from the motor and propeller in the new configuration without jackplate. Full gas tank, otherwise lightly loaded with just myself and the dog onboard. The numbers are from my best recollection as I didn’t have a pen or paper on board, but wr...

Re: FS 19 build

Got the Hull Identification number engraved on to the transom and then coated with epoxy. Did it with a Dremel tool and an engraving burr. Once the epoxy dries I will touch it up with some paint. Also made a marine plywood plaque engraved with the HIN to glue on inside an unexposed area per regulati...

Each day I took a different group out and we trolled for salmon, lake trout and walleye...

Re: FS 19 build

Waiting to get the boat back still. I had to drop off some paint for the guys at the boat service place so that they could touch up the transom inside and outside before remounting the motor. The forecast here this week has been rain everyday and the marine forecast is 3-4 ft seas building to 4-5 or...

Re: FS 19 build

Tom,

The deck drains and transom thru hull scuppers are both made by Gemlux. The transom thru hulls are the flapper style scupper.

Jordy

Re: FS 19 build

Thanks Tom. The motor is running at 6200 RPMs at wide open throttle the way it was set-up originally which is at the very high end of the range and doesn’t allow a whole lot of motor trim before the RPM limiter kicks in. My thought was to exchange props and go with more pitch to bring the RPMs down ...
