Re: Roman´s OB15 (First Time Builder)

I am not a fisher, the boat will be a pleasure craft for my wife and me The later may change the former....... it's hard to know the future :) Your boat is looking great! Edit: I am not awake yet, I read "I am not a father"..... my comment was funnier in that context but could still be true about f...

Re: How much space between center console and gunwales

my feet and ankles dont need much room, but my thighs and waist need a lot. I think that is pretty typical for a lot of Americans and worth considering.

Re: Narfi's FS17 - Build Thread

Brother that is a beautiful boat! I hope mine will look as good. :D You are more meticulous than me..... yours will turn out better :) After several days the boat still hadn't dried out from rinsing it off so I am probably done for the year. The trailer is just tacked together right now so I dont w...

Re: Narfi's FS17 - Build Thread

Boat sure looks nice. We are slated for snow Saturday. My wife wanted to go golfing and nearly cried when I told her to check the weather. Best of luck. Thanks. We had snow Sunday morning. Landon went out and played for an hour before church and some of his friends were convinced they were taking t...

Re: Roman´s OB15 (First Time Builder)

The plans should show a lamination schedule. x layers and weight of tape on each seam inside and out (could be 1 or more) x layers and weight of wide cloth and where (could be 0 or more) It should look something like this in the plans (my plans are for a different boat, but shows what section you ar...

I just ordered my tanks from speedy tanks. One 36 gallon and one 35 gallon. Wow, $1,120 and I'll have to pay shipping. I have a quote coming from Armstrong for the bracket too. Stay tuned.....
Just think of them as nice safes you are going to be storing all that money you pump into them :)

Re: Width of strongback

For my fs17 plans it was under the section "setting up the jig" and it specifies the width.

For the fs17 (may be different than yours I dont know) the motorwell side walls are attached to the strongback and then they are used to set the angle of the transom.
