Re: Interior walls

I think I like the idea of textured paint (tinted truck bed liner is polyurethane and durrable)

Do you still have your vacuum table? What about getting a carbon weave that looks nice and making thin panels you glue in place and trim the seams with something decorative?

Re: Narfi's FS17 - Build Thread

No boat progress to report, we had a huge dump of snow over thanksgiving then huge melts since. Today I hit the 40lb lost mark! October 5th I was 264lbs, today I am 224lbs. (40lbs in 10 weeks) That might even be lighter than when I got married 14yrs ago o.0 Averaging roughly 1200 calories per day in...

CNC Model kits?

I think this has been asked before but I can't remember if anything came of it......

Do you or would you offer CNC cut models for sale? (say 12-24 inch longish)

Looking for some winter entertainment or Christmas gift ideas for Landon.

Re: Eric's C21

Looking good as always! Once both sides are leveled I'll pull fillets on the bottom and lay two layers of glass tape. I didn't follow this part.... You are going to glass tape the batons in place? All of them or just the foam ones? Is this something that's required for the bigger boat? Hopefully it ...

Re: FS 17 BOM

The study plans tell what weight the waterline is calculated at, if I remember it is around 1450lbs and the basic to plans built boat is 350lbs The designated waterline is the top of the stringers/bulkheads and bottom of the sole, assuming that weight at the top of the sole gives you an extra 'fudge...

Re: FS 17 BOM

I havent launched mine yet. It is getting close, but fall/winter has put my project on hold till spring. From my research it should be ok for those conditions, but again I don't have any experience with it. My use will be a very large lake, so a bit different, but for sure you wont have any issues o...
