Glad you dressed up for their visit!

Co-workers this morning told me that we are getting the left overs from a Chinese typhoon.

Transom corner is looking good too!

Re: HC16 Build Questions

I didn't use butblocks but used fiberglass tapes to join the panels together lengthwise. Whenever you joined the plywood together to lay down the glass splice, did you use thickened epoxy or just regular epoxy between the edges of the boards? Also, I've gone completely through your build about 10 t...

Re: HC16 Build Questions

I over glassed the HC14 I built tough for my rough and tumble son. I didn't use butblocks but used fiberglass tapes to join the panels together lengthwise. You should be able to see most of the process in the links in my signature, I took pictures and posted here most every step along the way. Good ...

Re: Narfi's FS17 - Build Thread

Not sure when it will be warm again so decided to just get it all done. Borrowed a hand saw and cut the tops off everything and threw them in the remaining compartments and poured in the remaining 2 gallons along with the time capsule. 20180812_205645.jpg 20180812_205658.jpg 20180812_205504.jpg 2018...

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild

Was thinking about you guys today. Was raining like crazy this morning then turned sunny and was hot all day then turn cloudy and rainy again tonight. Wondered if you got that same window of nice weather for your guests.

Re: LM18 May Have Major Problem

What were your temperatures? I have a few times finished glassing with medium hardener around midnight and by 7:30 am it was still to soft barely to cut overhang with a razor. But by afternoon I could cut it and then a warm day baking in the tent was fine for sanding. But my temperatures are much lo...

Re: Narfi's FS17 - Build Thread

narfi Great looking, job. Your floor/sole looks great! Are you doing anything on the butting ends, tape or scarf ? Bob. I cut them so they all join at the center of the supports above the bulkheads. I will tape each seam once they are glued in place and 6oz over the entire thing. I used one more sh...
