The wife and I took Tipsy down to Murrells Inlet for a day of fresh air, sun and seafood. We anchored up close to the marsh walk and goat island ( a small 2 or 3 acres island where some goats live during the warm months). We bought a few pounds of fresh local shrimp but got the crabs the old fashion...

Next time you're out, use a compass to judge wind direction. Then you'll have to adjust for variation which is on the chart or perhaps shown on the gps. Then, judge the difference between the wind direction and your course on the chartplotter. It should be about 45 degrees.

Looking great! A boat that size won’t be difficult to flip (even multiple times) so it’s not terribly important whether you finish the outside before flipping to work on the inside. When I was building “Tipsy” I always liked to progress to the parts I was excited about and return to the other stuff ...
