Look for a sketch grudgeon. They make them. They look just like the pintles.

Actuality called “rudder gudgeon” but mount to skeg. https://www.rigrite.com/Hardware/Rudder ... 20Gudgeons
Thanks Jaysen!

How are you planning to attach the gudgeon to the skeg?
Hi Tony!
I’m planning to bend it around the skeg then drill through - slather with 5200 - secure with ss through bolts and lock nuts/ washer.

Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

Been working on rudder and tiller assembly. Need one more pintle and gudgeon at the bottom. I will attach it to the skeg because I don’t want to drill into a water tight portion of the boat . Had to dig a hole in Oder for the rudder to fit without lifting the boat.

Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

Installed the Bimini today with the help of my future son-in-law. This thing is a total game changer and I love it. Might have to lower it to make room for the boom but it should be OK for now. The Bimini has a zippered pocket that allows it to be folded up and zipped shut when not in use

Polytarp sail...

Anyone have experience making a Polytarp sail? I’m most curious about what type of cement / glue works best. I will be making a modified Chinese lug sail- all panels are flat so I’ll be able to make the sail out of one continuous piece.
