Incredible you finished last week the last boat and now it is the HM19 that will most probably see the water still this summer. Day 6: installed cleats, seat tops, mast step and 2 layers of copper/epoxy, with no fairing at all on the bottom.Total work 4h, the seat top dimensions were not in my plans ( a free plan) so I had to measure them. The next day I felt sorry about that so, on day 7 I did a light sanding on the bottom ...

Day 3, outside seams and bottom fiberblass, 2.5 hours. Day 4, outboard shoping. Day 2

I finished the interior filets, including the frames, the seams, made by 4” biaxial tape, and 9 oz cloth on the bottom and sides, between the frames, plus 2 coats of epoxy on the uncloathed plywood.
Total work time 3 hours.

D5 short shaft outboard

An outboard with a short shaft (381 mm) can be installed on the d5? I don't know how much to cut the transom. The ventilation plate should be in line with the lowest part of the boat? That would be about 130 mm, wich is the difference between the 2 shaft lenghts. If so, that cut is ok as the tiller ...
