Awesome build! How does the boat handle with the larger hull? How stable is it? I'm starting a SK14 at 10% scaled up soon, that's why I ask. I'm hoping to fit a Suzuki 9.9 so hopefully I can maintain planning speed with the larger/heavier hull. Anything near 20 mph would suit me just fine. Again, a...

I haven't ventured out in the bay yet, but a calm day would be doable. I tend to stay in the inlets and down to the outer banks.

Great build Frank, I really like the color choice. I am currently stationed at Little Creek and take my SK14 out quite a bit. It is a great craft for lynnhaven and Rudee inlets. Good to know. I am thinking that I might be able to mount a trolling motor to the bow for solo fishing trips (which most of mine usually are). I will be doing the same thing most likely when I get my sk14 finished. It will save on having to deal with keeping the trailer in good order. I am curious if you have to trim your weight on the skiff when you go out solo?
