Re: Console IPad Mount

That looks awesome Matt....I think I am going to patch the hole and install the simrad in the dash....and then use pop socket mounts to allow me to attach the Ipad iPad and navionics is my primary navigation tool, and it works great. I’ve just learned not to trust the depth in really shallow areas. ...

Re: Console IPad Mount

For me I think this is the way of the future....more and more things are moving to an app. For example am looking at a wifi radar that is 1000 vs 2500 or more for radar with display. In this case I have the Simrad that was supposed to go on my fs17 but the rig I bought is going to be the bottom fish...

Console IPad Mount

So putting a Simrad in the boat and it can do screen mirroring. I can turn my 7 inch screen to a 10 inch screen pretty cheap. Anyone seen or know of good ideas to mount a ipad flush and be able to charge it? Thanks for the ideas

Re: Buying a boat

That boat has seen some use with the bottom as rough as it is. How much and what is it? Hard to give sage advice, but I might pay a surveyor $500 to save a couple thousand or $10,000. It's a 97 Jones Brothers hull.....they want 24500 and it has a lot of upgrades (radar, t top, cusions) and repowere...

Re: Buying a boat

Had some pictures taken today but having a hard time interpreting but I asked for pictures of the through hulls. The bottom has barrier paint on it so I can't tell if this is normal paint wear or its problematic. I have an inspection on it coming up but thought you all would know. Thanks guys for an...

Buying a boat

So while we are under quarantine my wife has opened up to the idea of buying a boat.....meaning I could join the small group of folks with two boats :-p. Problem I have is would you all consider a boat that was drilled and then 5200ed....not drill fill drill. I think it is only on the t top through ...
