Your absolutely right fuzz. Although hard sometimes, recognizing the positives that come out of negative events puts life in perspective. The fact that they all survived an accident like that definitely makes you recognize what's important. Hope the remainder of your Xmas is as positive as that story.

Well, I finally finished my canoe but don't think I'll be able to launch it until the spring. Little cold and not sure I want to test out my building skills in freezing temperatures 8O . I have been on several boats with it and actually like the look and feel of it, especially in a cabin. There are various brands and some are a vinyl material and some closed cell foam material that really makes standing all day on it very comfortable. The newer versions don't seem to fade or go bad ...

You're right peewee, I should have done a build thread. I really wasn't thinking and just started moving along.. Oh well, hopefully next time I will know bettér and put the build in a separate thread. Thanks for the comments

Slowly, but still progressing. Hope to have inside finished this weekend and then flip and paint outside and do some bright work. Outside 98% faired so shouldn't be much longer now that kids sports over for awhile
