I have been on several boats with it and actually like the look and feel of it, especially in a cabin. There are various brands and some are a vinyl material and some closed cell foam material that really makes standing all day on it very comfortable. The newer versions don't seem to fade or go bad ...

You're right peewee, I should have done a build thread. I really wasn't thinking and just started moving along.. Oh well, hopefully next time I will know bettér and put the build in a separate thread. Thanks for the comments

Slowly, but still progressing. Hope to have inside finished this weekend and then flip and paint outside and do some bright work. Outside 98% faired so shouldn't be much longer now that kids sports over for awhile

I have never use floatation foam so do not know how far it goes. For the small area I would like to fill do you have any idea how much I may need? Thanks

Quick question, is it normal or wise to put buoyancy foam under the breasthooks? If so, about how much would I need? If it's not necessary, that's a fine answer too. Finally got a few hours and hope to get some primer on the inside Saturday. It's slow but it is progressing. I have really made some bonehead mistakes that have slowed me down but easy fixes none the less. Here's a shot of inside. It's a poor angle b atleast shows progress
