Re: Coach's SC-16 in MA

Got some good news. Found 22lbs of water in the compartments under the rod and cup holders almost all of it was Port side. Popped up the cup holders and sure enough port side was 50% full of water. Good news and that much water so close to stern is prob why it listed that inch or so port side. I sti...

Re: Lm18 madison wi

Did you find the smart tabs work well to the keep the bow down? I am considering adding them to my SC-16 to flatten her out. Especially running alone.

Thought I would share a couple photos of other guys who are worse off than me this week. Same storm tore this pontoon apart!

Re: Hurricane Damage Coach's SC-16

Thanks Guys...My plan as of now is to get her home, remove what I can and weigh her again. I have calculated about 55 lbs of gear has been added to her since the 439 lb weigh in. Once back on stand and upside down I will stick a vacuum on the penetration in the sole for the fuel line. It was water t...

Re: Hurricane Damage Coach's SC-16

I am very confident in the seal in the sole to the floor and the water tight seals in the cockpit. Too much work was put into fillet, tape and full sheets of cloth. Thats why she is so phat! I also could not feel any void at the bottom of the chase tubes. I sealed both sides of the chase tubes into ...

Re: Hurricane Damage Coach's SC-16

Ya it does suck. We are at a lake house rental and yesterday the water was glass like. Calm as could be. I moved her over to the side while we pulled tubers and water skiers with my jetski that we also brought with us. She was anchored well, so I thought. In hindsight I should have tied her to the d...

Hurricane Damage Coach's SC-16

Sorry to report this fellas but she sustained some damage early this morning. We had some severe winds up here in the early morning hours. The weather reports showed the weather far west of us but there was enough wind to drag her anchor closer to shoreline and smash against the rocks. My buddy and ...
