I saw the coats of neat epoxy post fairing recommended on a homebuit aircraft group as a means of eliminating pinholes. The epoxy will flow into them rather than bridging as additional fairing compound might do.

Yeah, that is a better description of what I had in mind. Then instead of being a mistake, the location of the non-flush hatch becomes a feature, because it keeps your seat cushion from sliding off. :lol:
