Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA

First filler coat on right side bottom panel. Used 6” plastic trowel at near 90 degrees. Used three batches of 3 pumps each. Look reasonable to you guys?

Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA

Ready to start fairing!!! Thanks for all the input so far. I’ll be using BBC blended filler to start. One remaining question: how soon after the filler sets up will I be able to start sanding? I believe I saw somewhere that sanding is best before it fully cures.

Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA

Hull complete with strakes and spray rails cloth covered and sanded. I’m adding laminated rub rail and will be sharpening edges before fairing. I’m considering building the faces of rub rails more vertical (as compared to water surface) as I’ll be attaching molded black rubber Taco rails to edge of ...

Re: Outboard bolt patterns?

What’s the best method for filling oversized holes? I can think of backing the low sloping side with plastic then filling with putty and covering the near side. Backing plastic with something solid to hold it flat. Other ideas are welcome.

Thanks
