Re: OB 15

Enjoyed a nice evening in Lake Toho. My 14 year old son took the helm all the time for me to enjoy fishing. He did an amazing job with boat handling, I never had to step in. It's a rare occasion having a nice time with my teenage son. Gotta love boating 😁. The fishing wasn't that good. It wasn't the...

Re: The Plytanic 2.0 - FS17 Build

Re: Insurance for homemade Vessels

Thanks for the quick replies Jeff, Jaysen and Cape man. I was able to get insurance with Progressive, liability only. Geico told me no, not even to liability only. Markel insurance and other insurance companies won’t insure the OB because it lives in the Orlando area. That is a good enough reason fo...

Insurance for homemade Vessels

Hello to everyone. Looking to insure the OB, but non of the big name insurers want to insure the OB.
How and with what company have other builders in Florida insured their home built boats?

Thanks

Re: OB 15

I think this may be the problem of my trim angle at WOT. With the engine full tilt down the thrust is pointing down, resulting in a bow down trim at WOT. Also the engine full tilt down the cavitation plate is parallel to the hull bottom. Tilting the engine to get the thrust parallel, the cavitation ...
