Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA

I went into sticker shock as well. Be on the look out for dealer demos. I got lucky on my last two motors. First was a merc race boat support vessel motor (90 optimax) with 15 hours most of it idling. second was a return because the customer was unhappy and wanted a bigger motor. In both cases I got...

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

Going back to the roof line question. I think you can still get away with a flat roof if you add enough separation in height between the two. I like head room, and having the additional 5" on the side where you pop in and out of to walk up the the front will be much better than having a rounded top ...

Re: Lm18 madison wi

I have room to run the controls without much fuss. I was worried more about space to fit a wheel and binnacle mount controls. However I found an 11” wheel with a knob that should allow me the room needed. Prop update. I tried a 4 blade stern lift prop and man was it great. Boat rides really well now...

Re: Hull ID plate

My problem now is I need a notary and all of them in my area are closed. Hopefully will start opening next week.

Thanks

Hull ID plate

What are my options for marking the Hull id on the back of the transom? What has been done? My boat now has a hull registration number, but still working through the registration details. Here in Wi lot of data in needed to register(reciepts, pictures, build process, etec.). All is done except my "F...

Re: LM 18 Summerville, SC

Are you planning on running as a console or a tiller?

Re: LM18 Madison Wi Building questions

Wedges + moving up a hole did the trick. Boat runs great, no more porpoising. I’m glad I didn’t want to have to install tabs. Now I need to try a couple props. I posted more about it in my builder forum thread. I’m kicking around the idea of converting from a tiller to a console for reasons listed i...

Re: Lm18 madison wi

I got the boat back with the shims and raise up one whole. That did the trick, no more porpoising. It ran great nice and smooth. I still need to work on getting the right prop the standard brp 17 x 13.5 had my rpms over the limit. I tried a 17 inch cupped x 14 prop and it has my rpm right at 5900. I...
