Lm18 scaled down

I know the general rule is +- 10% but scaling the LM18 down 11% would put me right at 16' with 4-9" beam ... Would this be an issue if I don't intend on having a tunnel ?

Re: Fs14ls s.texas splashed (10-13-19)

Alright... Got my jackplate built and installed and had a chance to give a run ... No drag/backsplash ... Ended up about 5 in back and 3.5-4 " vertical ... But hole shot seems better running about 24-25 mph in light wind and chop.... Overall pleased with it all....

Re: Filler Question

I still have the fairing stuff... I just need some way of thickening the stuff up a bit so I can apply it on a vertical surface.

There’s no fish there, but it’s beautiful. 😏 I would not have believed one man could put the fish hex on an entire region if I had not seen it with my own eyes :help: Anyway you have a nice boat. Have fun with it. How about some running details  Finally put a GPS thing ... With a light wind a...

Re: Jack plate question

Ok... Ill just center at 3" on slot with about an inch or so in either direction just in case... I couldn't imagine it would have been much but I've been wrong before , and though I could take it down and modify ... I wasn't really enjoying that thought

Dunno where you're at but Rockport and port a aren't far from me (I live out near Sinton) ... I'll give ya a hand if it's being built nearby and you'd like one.

Re: Jack plate question

Well.. hahah speed isn't a concern honestly (I'm happy with 20s but I do like getting in to some skinny water ... As for the fins... Right now I'm getting some pretty good back spray and some drag... But you're right... I'll lift and move it back until I need to stop and move it back a notch hahaha :D

Re: Jack plate question

The set back is just to get me a tiny bit higher ... With the 3" or 4" rise I need to get my doelfin where It needs to be it would put me around 11 or 12" on plane which is fine... (My bottom side starts clenching in less than that anyway) probably add trim tabs soon enough and I should have a good ...
