Re: Hull support after flip?

I supported my FS17 about the same as Chuck did his. Worked good. That was about 11 years ago

Oh I was up in your end of Lake Sinclair week before last cruising around breaking in a new Tohatsu 60hp.

Re: LM18 in Perry, GA

I miss those power plant stacks. They kept me from getting lost a few times.

Where on Sinclair? Would love to meet you guys and your boats. I’m up the Oconee arm above Oconee Springs Park.
I'm John's FIL. We were a good ways from you down on the southwest end. We put in at Twin Bridges Landing and were at my sister in-laws house for a family get together.

Re: SK14, Sept.2018, Nathan

Thanks everybody.
Yes almost 18mph does feel fast. I bet a 5 or 6hp would be plenty for this boat but it's nice knowing I have more if needed.

Re: SK14, Sept.2018, Nathan

Thanks Jeff, With my wife sitting on the heavy cooler and less than 3/4 throttle we clocked 17.3 mph by gps. The motor is not fully broken in yet. Didn't look at the speed with just me on board. Feels faster. IMG_0511a.jpg She is very stable for such a small boat but 3/4 throttle feels plenty fast f...

Re: It pays to get your hardware in as you build

Thanks y'all.
None of the bolt holes fall right on the stringers and I have a little bag of milled fiber.
Might be able to do four toggle bolts one on each flange and the rest screws.

Does anybody have a good source for 1/4" ss toggle bolts?
