Re: FS18 Strongback question

Good luck on your build!!
Would be quite a hike for you drive to central Florida to pick up my FS18 strong back.
My hunting camp is in Lake City, still might be a little too far to be practical...

Re: Epoxy reaction

I’ve got this epoxy sensitivity myself. I take precautions, I can work with the stuff with minimal problems. Quick fair causes the absolute nastiest reactions for me. Just smelling the odor while mixing it causes me to break out in hives. I wear a full canister respirator when I’m mixing and sanding...

What do you guys think? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Bogie
I'd tie down your boat, secure your house and leave.
This is going to be a very nasty hurricane...
If you have no place to go, send me a pm...

Re: Finishing P'Drum's XF20

I have built and still own an XF20, completed in 2008. You really want an operable hydraulic or electric jacplate on this boat. A manual plate is not a good fit for this boat. I struggle to even describe the fine tuned dynamics of running a big flat bottomed flats boat with a tunnel. For instance, s...

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild

So what brand of tabs do you guys like? Electric or hydraulic? Hydraulic tabs are all I have ever used on 3 of the 4 offshore type boats I have owned, all were bought new. My GW 1996 26’ Islander had Bennett tabs. They worked great but would blow a fuse every time you tried to tab up the starboard ...

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild

Fuzz,
We all enjoyed our visit today. :D
The Sintes looks awesome!!!
We absolutely destroyed the coho salmon over at Big River Lake when we left you guys.
Saw a few tons of moose and 6 or 8 brown bears.
I’ll post pics soon....

Off to do a little fishing with the Florida boys in the morning.
One complaint about them.............they are not worth a crap for bringing sunshine with them
100% chance of rain, 48 degrees, 15 knot winds. Perfect :D

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild

Well we will hope it floats :!: Pretty sure AA and CapeMan will not be very pleased with me if they get dunked in a glacier fed lake :help: I would take those bets Tom but I do not want to bet against myself on the first part. And the second part I need to ask if you understand it will have 200hp o...
