Re: LB22, Dec 2017, Rob R

Lowering the pitch will give you better performance throughout. If you are only turning 5200 at full throttle the engine is working too hard to turn the prop. Re: FS 19 build

Your kayaks told me this boat was going to be awesome... and she's that and more. Really nice when the pros take notice as well. My best compliments are when someone in the industry takes notice. Re: FS 17 - Raised Sheer

I know you are trying to get it done as fast as possible, but while you can put on several coats of primer soon after each other, you need to wait awhile - about a week - before the top coat for that S3 product to fully cure.

Re: FS 19 build

What color are you painting inside? Assume white since the console is. Pattie really likes the outside.

Re: OD18 - NH

The fillets and glass on all that really bumped up the list of materials. Bet I have close to 2 gallons of epoxy down there, but again I'm glad it's there!

Re: Panga bottom panels.

Wait for Jacques response, but the bottom is always thicker on a planing hull. There is a big difference (50%) between 6 and 9mm. When a boat is running through waves, you don't want the bottom flexing. Whether a family boat or work boat, the waves are the same. I'd rather lose my gear than the fami...
