I have been told they can get you an inch, on a stainless, without putting new blades on by reshaping them. After that the cost is a wash with a new prop. On your other question... AA's scuppers on Red Alert are holes in the sides to the rear of the deck that he can plug from the inside when loaded ...

Clamps should be fine. Tape the lower edges before you glue it up and pull it when the glue starts setting up . Wipe any squeeze out as soon as you have the clamps where you want them. I used epoxy mixed with wood flour for glue at mayonaise consistency. I wish I could type with a Scottish accent...

The pitch is measured in inches. Think of it as a screw. A 14 inch pitch will move the boat 14 inches with each full rotation. The force to do that rotatation is higher than a 12 inch, allowing the engine to run faster and with less load. Slippage is real because its water, but the pitch numbers are...

Clara's back in her room. Got a thorough rinsing just east of Okeechobee. Was super awesome to see everyone and Reuben's boat, which is fantastico! Clara and Red Alert need to see each other more frequently...
