Re: pros and cons on xf20 to xf22

Have been on Aripeka Angler's XF20 many times. For what you describe you don't need the larger XF22 and the added cost. The XF20 is a BIG BOAT!

Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Tunisia in the mid 80s and the Arabian horses and the sight hounds (Slughis, not Salukis) in the desert were one of the most impressive things I saw. The falconers were more impressive. Sorry for the hijack, but you kind of asked for it...

Re: Narfi's FS17 - Build Thread

I would run straps under it and lift it from the shoulder if you walk it out. For my OD we just backed the trailer in to the door of the barn and winched it on with guys helping to relieve some of the weight from the sides as it went.

Re: Coach's SC-16 in MA

If you go with a 15, I would run a clamping board all the way across the top of the transom to distribute the force. You will need to notch out the ply you have installed to accommodate it.

But that's just me...

Loving this build!

Re: New console build

You don't need 3/4" for the wheel and throttle. 3/8" okume is some solid stuff.
