Re: Eric's C21

I spent this morning fitting the frame cleats. The ones on the transom have a 13 degree ripped bevel to match the transom. The corners were fitting by transferring the angles and then radii were sanded to match the corner fillets. It was easy to do, just took time to get them all done. I had to sto...

Re: Larry's method of bolting the T Ttop to the sole

Finished :D Larry's method worked well but instead of a allen wrench I used a router, because the wrench ripped open the thin outer fiber shell at first try http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/19389/20180822_142147.jpg http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/19389/20180822_155113.jpg http:...

Re: FS14 Wolf's build

To bad you can't just stain that trim piece. It will take a lot of abuse being on the edge. Thinking my instrument dash will be light colored stained to show it is wood. I am glad I am not at that point of deciding what to do about finishing the interior of my build....Good luck with that! W...

Re: Larry's method of bolting the T Ttop to the sole

Hey Peter! I found some mention of it on page 220 of his build thread https://forums.bateau2.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12976&hilit=Cracker+Larry+od18&start=2190 Basically he routed a hole in the foam and filled it with an epoxy plug and let the bolts harden in the plug with silicone release agent. R...
