This is what they use, from the product site of Duratek:

IMPREGNATION PRIMER FOR WOOD
AV 483
DESCRIPTION

AV 483 is a solvent free low viscosity epoxy based system developed for wood impregnation.

There is some good info about Impregnation resins, worth a read imho.

Boat yards here dont use neat epoxy as preservative, they have another material they use to stop starvation. Will try to find the product. Also wood has to be dry etc I remember you using wood available from your land, maybe it was not fully dry. My epoxy supplier asked me if I was to use plywood or...

Pro boat builders in Turkey usually build wood core planked cedar strip Gulet type boats. They use epoxy preservatives before any glass lamination.
