Re: Trolling for spanish mackerel

I have no clue for mackeral, but I have made amendments with prismatic duct tape and it catches fish. You can tape the tape to itself and I always keep a bunch onboard for livebait imitations. https://www.amazon.com/Holographic-Adhesive-Stickers-Reflective-Materials/dp/B01AFVEB2G/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa...

Re: Truck Bed?

Thanks for all the feedback, I'm really looking forward to this build! So i measured the width between my wheel wells and its 45", the wheel wells start 18'' back from the front of the bed and go back to 42'' from the front of the bed. I would greatly appreciate it if some one could measure the wid...

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

Sweet! I can almost hear the door closing tight! Does this mean you can climatize inside the cabin and get some work done in there? Yeah. I had no choice really. The sill of of the door needs glass tape and fairing and paint. Too cold for any of it. It gets cold here because there is no ocean tempe...

Re: Sation A of CX 25

As fallguy1000 says, mark out the points, hammer in some small nails, then use a batten to trace fair curves between the points. The plan gives you the position of the points: http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/89475/04-layout_-_not_from_baseline_2.jpg Measure them out, hammer in the nails,...

Re: Truck Bed?

fyi, if you find she is too wide; I have in the past made a simple stand up bed with 2x4s to get above the wells. This is dang handy to stow stuff under done right.

Re: Sation A of CX 25

Camber can also be done on the panel, prior to cutting by using a batten. I like a batten 18-20mm square.

You can hold the two fixed ends bu drrilling and placing some hardened nails to hold the batten true. Then move the batten to the offset and draw.

Post some pictures of the build.

Re: 91 chawk 222 rebuild

I like the idea of that foam, the 2 inner stringer are 1.5 thick(double 3/4" ply ) the two outers are single 3/4, to this point I've only removed the floor over the tank and about 4 ft forward of stern. I wanted to try to keep as much structure in place since this is gonna be a very slow project du...
