Re: CX19 progress updates Perth WA

Hi Richard, Do you find the roller wets out the tape faster and better than a squeegee in your wet out box?? The roller is just to roll up the tape after it has been saturated with epoxy, I use a brush with bristles cut in half to shorten and stiffened it. I put a plastic sheet on the wet out board ...

Re: CX19 progress updates Perth WA

Yes winter is coming along very soon. I may be able to work a little if the weather is good, but it will not fit back in the shed so it is outside under a tarp now. I am looking for a new place to move into to finish it. I am pleased with my progress considering the time I have actually worked on it...

Re: CX19 progress updates Perth WA

May be a little while until I can start on the cabin, but I am definitely motivated to move to a larger shed to finish the inside and cabin. Especially now I have seen it on the trailer :D http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/12901/DSC01778.JPG The sliding gantry. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_0J9AvzB...

Well I took a little time off over winter, but have done a little more work in the last two weeks. I put the last coat of graphite on the bottom and also another coat of primer. I am going to paint later so will sand back the primer when near to that. I need to move house again so the time to flip a...
