Hi Tom, It took 12 pots at 144g by weight, around 150ml each, I am guessing of resin /graphite mix for three coats. I will probably use another mix the same for touching up some edges. Next on the list is to prime the sides. I think that will be easier as the pot life is considerably longer at about...

I think it turned out pretty good. I had Dad help mix epoxy today which was a great effort as it was turning ou...

Cheers! Well, it is all masked off now and I am ready to apply three coats of graphite/epoxy mix to that bottom. I think this is going to be a long night. Temperature is perfect at 25C, so hopefully it goes ok. I ended up using a laser light to help mask the water line, I will post some pictures tom...

I will finish sanding them next weekend, and then I can finish the epoxy / graphite mix for the bottom. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_0J9AvzBhWkY/S5yV1_MvbiI/AAAAAAAAArQ/9uFZ52XVHXk/s800/DSC01267.JPG These have been tap...

Hi Kingfish,
That is one inspirational boat...it has been very motivating watching you build it this year.
I am very much looking foward to seeing it in the water.

I have done one side and will do the other side tomorrow. Getting there slowly!! I still think it will be another...

I think the bottom is fair enough for two coats of resin and three mixed with graphite now. I put on the strakes with help f...

Are builders from Western Australia welcome? Don't know how much it will cost, but if not too much I would like to fly over?
