Re: Chrome pitting

If I remember right, my fittings were Bronze with chrome plating. They too pitted a bit, would see a green stain at the pitting. I would just clean (not polish), then light coat of carnauba wax on them.

What is the wood used in the CnC kits temp frames

What is the wood used in the CnC kits temp frames and bow molds.

I'm cleaning up the store room and don't like throwing out such nice looking ply! Don't know what type of wood it is and will it work for birdhouses (outside)?

Re: How much storage do we really need...

I have been fishing with some friends over the years who, it seems like, try and fit their entire garage full of rods/tackle on their boat every time they head out. Over the course of the day we only end up using a fraction of what he packed. When I am on the water I like EVERYTHING to be stowed aw...

Re: What do you all think? Should I???

I bought the 2014 version of that engine (MFS20CEFTS) for almost double that amount. I use it for my 16' LOA, 6' beam, high shear tinny, a 1979 Sea Nymph which weighs in at a bit under 300 lbs. With me, engine, fuel, and the rest of my gear it is likely around 700 lbs. total. I swapped out the stoc...
