I am in another forum and everyone that has used the merc prop calculator calculated a prop with at least 2" too much pitch. Jim is right on with all his advice. to change from an aluminum prop to a SS prop, drop 2" in pitch. Of course that is if your aluminum prop gives you the rpm you need. Always...
