I screwed mine to the jig. I added 2x4 to the jig for that reason. If you do not have enough wood to screw to, you could strap it to the jig somehow. I do remember it taking a while before I was satisfied with the fit. Good luck!

The viz is touch and go here. Just depends on the weather. I'm used to the Keys & up here the bugs are much bigger. Can't wait to get some.

The roll over is quite a milestone and an event which will stay in your mind for quite some time. I can still remeber that Friday evening we we rolled mine over. Have fun! You be really surprised at how light it is. 3 guys, no problem.

I had the same problem with the OB15 & faired the low spot. I would think this is a common problem.

As mentioned above, you need to determine your needs for a boat. Building a smaller boat will introduce you to the methods of building. Glad you guys like the picks. I sure with a 50hp, I will be able to cruise at a pretty good clip. Big Black sure does make towing the new trailer more comfortable.
